Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft touched down in accordance with standard protocol and all passengers, including Pete Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson said in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to the city of Brussels at the time.

This event is not the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered technical problems.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was compelled to return to the US capital after suffering a mechanical problem.
